Happy Easter in Germany!!

On Easter Sunday families get together to celebrate a nice large breakfast/ brunch. Tables are decorated colorful with chocolate eggs, boiled colored eggs, little rabbits, baby chicks, gifts and much, much more.

Chocolate eggs are hidden for the children to find the day before, in the garden, around the house or in the field, and once they have found them all, it is when Easter is celebrated with a brunch-type breakfast.

This year, we set up a traditional German Easter table using our stoneware ceramic plates with an old gold-gilt edging, that together with the colorful eggs resulted in a very Happy Easter celebration.

Coloring eggs with natural colorss:

In this case, natural pigments were used to color the eggs.
White eggs are essential because they take on color effectively, but finding them is becoming increasingly difficult. !!
